I salute the peaceful, eternal, incomprehensible, sinless one, who gives peace leading to liberation, served by Brahma, Shiva, and Indra, known through Vedanta, the all-pervading, known as Rama, the lord of the universe, the guru of gods, appearing as a human through Maya, Hari, the compassionate, the best of the Raghu dynasty, the jewel of kings.

मैं शांत, शाश्वत, अप्रमेय, पापरहित, मोक्ष की शांति देने वाले, ब्रह्मा, शिव, और इंद्र द्वारा सेवित, वेदांत द्वारा जाने जाने वाले, सर्वव्यापी, राम के नाम से प्रसिद्ध, जगत के ईश्वर, देवताओं के गुरु, माया द्वारा मनुष्य के रूप में प्रकट, हरि, करुणामय, रघुवंश के श्रेष्ठ, और राजाओं के रत्न को नमस्कार करता हूँ।

There is no other desire in my heart, O Lord of the Raghu dynasty, I speak the truth and you are the inner soul of all. Grant me unwavering devotion, O best of the Raghu dynasty, and make my mind free from faults like desire.

हे रघुवंश के स्वामी, मेरे हृदय में कोई और इच्छा नहीं है, मैं सत्य बोलता हूँ और आप सभी के अंतरात्मा हैं। हे रघुवंश के श्रेष्ठ, मुझे अडिग भक्ति प्रदान करें और मेरे मन को कामादि दोषों से मुक्त करें।

I bow to the one with incomparable strength, whose body shines like a golden mountain, who destroys evil forces, is foremost among the wise, the abode of all virtues, the lord of the monkeys, a dear devotee of Lord Rama, and the son of the wind.

The pleasant words of Jambavan, upon hearing, pleased Hanuman's heart greatly.

Until then, test me, brother. Endure sorrow, eat the root and fruit.

तब तक, मुझे परीक्षा करो, भाई। दुःख सहना, जड़ और फल खाना।

Until I come to see Sita, my task will bring me special joy.

जब तक मैं सीता को देखने नहीं आता, मेरा कार्य मुझे विशेष खुशी देगा।

Saying this, name everyone's forehead. Departed joyfully, holding in heart, Lord Rama.

यह कहकर, सभी के माथे का नाम लें। खुशी से चले गए, हृदय में धारण करते हुए, भगवान राम।

On the ocean's shore, a beautiful mountain. With joy, (he) leapt and ascended onto it.

समुद्र के किनारे, एक सुंदर पर्वत था। खुशी के साथ, (वह) उस पर कूदकर चढ़ गया।

Again and again, remembering Raghuvir, the son of wind (Hanuman) with immense strength, crossed over.

बार बार रघुवीर को स्मरण करके, पवनपुत्र (हनुमान) ने अपनी अत्यधिक शक्ति से पार किया।

To whom the mountain gives its feet, Hanuman, that earth goes to the underworld instantly.

जिसे पर्वत अपने पैर देता है, हनुमान, वह पृथ्वी तुरंत पाताल लोक में चली जाती है।

Just as the unfailing arrow from the hand of Lord Rama, in this way Hanuman proceeded.

जैसे भगवान राम के हाथ का अविच्युत तीर, इसी तरह हनुमान चले।

The emissary of Lord Rama considers the ocean. Then, the mountain Mainak becomes a reliever of fatigue.

भगवान राम के दूत समुद्र का विचार करते हैं। तब, पर्वत मैनाक थकान हटाने वाला बन जाता है।

Hanuman, after touching it, salutes again. Without doing Rama's task, where is my rest?

हनुमान, इसे छूने के बाद, फिर से नमस्कार करते हैं। राम का कार्य किए बिना, मेरा विश्राम कहाँ है?

The gods saw Hanuman, the son of the wind, and recognized his exceptional strength and wisdom.

देवताओं ने पवन के पुत्र हनुमान को देखा और उनकी असाधारण शक्ति और बुद्धि को पहचाना।

Surasa, the mother of serpents, came and spoke to him.

सर्पों की माता सुरसा आई और उससे बात की।

Today, the gods have given me food. Hearing these words, said the Son of the Wind.

He expanded his body to cover a jojana. The monkey made his body twice as large.

उन्होंने अपने शरीर को एक जोजन को ढकने के लिए विस्तारित किया। वानर ने अपने शरीर को दोगुना बना दिया।

His face became sixteen yojanas wide. Swiftly, the son of wind (Hanuman) became thirty-two yojanas in size.

उनका मुख सोलह योजन चौड़ा हो गया। पवनपुत्र (हनुमान) त्वरित रूप से बत्तीस योजन के आकार का हो गये।

As Surasa increases her body, Hanuman shows a form twice as large.

जैसे सुरसा अपने शरीर को बढ़ाती है, हनुमान उसका दोगुना रूप दिखाते हैं।

Hanuman made his face a hundred yojanas wide and assumed a very small form.

हनुमान ने अपना चेहरा सौ योजन चौड़ा कर दिया और एक बहुत छोटे रूप में परिवर्तित हो गए।

Coming out from behind his body, he asked for leave and bowed his head.

अपने शरीर के पीछे से निकलकर, उन्होंने विदा मांगी और अपना सिर झुकाया।

Send me to the gods for whom I may obtain your secret wisdom and strength.

You, Hanuman, are the treasure of strength and intellect, do all of Rama's work. Having received blessings, Hanuman left joyfully.

हनुमान, आप बल और बुद्धि का खजाना हैं, राम का सभी कार्य करें। आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करके, हनुमान खुशी-खुशी चले गए।

The demoness remained in the ocean, creating an illusion and taking the form of a bird in the sky.

राक्षसी समुद्र में रही, माया बनाती हुई और आकाश में एक पक्षी का रूप ले ली।

The living creatures that fly in the sky. Observing them covered in water.

वे जीव जंतु जो आकाश में उड़ रहे हैं। जल में उन्हें देखते हुए ढक लिए।

He who desires to grab, cannot fly. In this way, the sky dweller always consumes.

जो पकड़ना चाहता है, वह उड़ नहीं सकता। इस तरह, आकाश में रहने वाला हमेशा खाता है।

That trick which Hanuman did, his deceit the monkey instantly recognized.

वह छल जो हनुमान ने किया, उसके कपट को वानर ने तुरंत पहचान लिया।

The brave son of the wind god (Hanuman), having killed him, wisely went across the ocean.

पवनपुत्र (हनुमान) ने उसे मारकर बुद्धिमानतापूर्वक समुद्र को पार कर दिया।

Going there, saw the beauty of the forest. The birds, attracted to honey, were resounding.

वहाँ जाकर वन की सुंदरता देखी। शहद के प्रति आकर्षित होने वाले पक्षी गूंज रहे थे।

Various beautiful trees, fruits, and flowers. Seeing groups of birds and animals pleases the mind.

विभिन्न सुंदर पेड़, फल, और फूल। पक्षियों और जानवरों के समूहों को देखकर मन को खुशी मिलती है।

Seeing a huge mountain ahead, he ran towards it and climbed on it, abandoning his fear.

उसने आगे एक विशाल पर्वत देखा, उसकी ओर दौड़ा और उस पर चढ़ गया, अपने डर को त्यागते हुए।

There is nothing superior to the monkey's (Hanuman's) Lord, whose power even consumes time (death).

वानर (हनुमान) के प्रभु से बड़ी कुछ भी नहीं है, जिनकी शक्ति समय (मृत्यु) को भी खा जाती है।
